Day 10 EN: Time to Relax

''Ah'' she smiled as she heard the last name spoken ''Miss Korviyanikova is involved? I had the chance to meet her a few months ago.''

So, that's what Hana has been doing? It was odd she did not reach out to her directly but she might have her own reasons

''I will gladly meet with the other founders and see where I can benefit Bogatyr Unlimited. Though, I warn you, I have high moral standards.''

Bea smiled. Oh! He was recruiting them. Not trying to sell something to them.

"I really like the idea of an organization that intends to help, to be heroic, and is jointly founded by elites and baselines. An organization that will protect and defend elites and baselines equally, yes?"

It was really good for such an option to exist between the corruption of UNJE and unacceptable elitism of Pantheon.

"You do crisis and crime response? Licensed, legal work?"

"I have some on-going responsibilities to support the ecumenical council, but I don't think being available to a broader team of do-gooders would interfere with that. They vary where they meet around the world, in respect of each organization's base of operations."

“Yes, we do crisis and crime response, emergency response and humanitarian work, the app has tons of work, yes,” he said.

"That sounds like a wonderful tool. And a good way to alert folks to where there is need, now and in the future."

"Is some work pro bono? Volunteer? I would not want to be paid for humanitarian work, beyond a bed and a roof over my head while I worked. Could be a cot in a tent or a bunk in a barrack. Nothing special."

"Umm, pro bono, do not understand. Oh you mean for free, no, no, not yet, but we can work something out if needed," he said with mild confusion.

As soon as some red flags dropped, others were raised. An app? What was this? Uber for heroism?

She was interested for Hana's sake but she could not help but see the same possible exploitation others gig works had. Nothing of the true change that was needed.

She would have to talk to Hana directly

"Why did you say that miss Hana is partially the reading you are here?"

"She gave names, yes, and since I was nearby she said I should reach out to you," he said. "It was a good decision."

Bea smiled.

"It sounds really valuable. Maybe I could help you build out a volunteer section of the organization and app. The need is probably very hard to meet. But those in greatest need could least afford to pay."

The paused to gather her thoughts for a while

''Is Bogatyr Unlimited fully private or does it have share holders or stock holders?'' she ventured to ask ''Are you looking for some?''

“We are a private company, well mostly, Hana has a silent partner in a firm called Janus Investments, but they have been good to us, yes. But we are working to make sure our people are taken care of,” he said proudly.

“You make good point,” he said to Bee Haw, “We shall do right thing, for world and our company.”

''I heard of them...I do think they are a trustworthy group'' she quirked an eyebrow ''How open are you to have people become more then a contractor? I do have funds I can contribute and I just had a few reasons to be...hesitant...to blindly follow. If you are honest with us I would be interested to have an equal partnership with the founding members.''
